Are you living a FILLED life, or a FULL life?

  • Do you ever feel like …?

    • The calendar dictates what you do
    • You feel obligated to take on, “just one more thing”
    • Your life revolves around meeting others’ needs and expectations
    • Everything feels urgent …ALL …THE …TIME!
    • “Life happens” to you, day in and day out.
    • You’re exhausted at the end of the day, but you don’t really know what you accomplished
    • You are too busy to stop and celebrate the small everyday moments.

    You feel:

    Stressed

    Overwhelmed

    Busy

    Scattered

    Life is filled.

  • Do you wish life could be more like …?

    • You dictate what  goes on your calendar
    • You are comfortable saying “no” to anything you are not feeling led to do
    • You balance needs of others and yourself
    • You have a plan for the week and questions you ask to help prioritize what to do first
    • You have a vision and core values for your life/family
    • You take practical action steps to meet those goals and dreams
    • You have space to invite God into your day and allow Him to order your steps
    • You create moments to celebrate others and recognize their accomplishments

    You feel:

    Peaceful

    Confident

    Purposeful

    Focused

. . . even when life is busy!

    Life is FULL!

My guess is that many of us want to live FULL, purposeful, and intentional lives, even if we …

  • don’t know how to do it

  • feel we are not good at it

  • don’t know where to get started

Maybe, just maybe, our perception of how to do it, and what it looks like is skewed?

In other words, what or who are you comparing yourself to?

That’s often what we end up doing, isn’t it?

We look to others as a benchmark.  How’s that going for us?

Not so good, right?

What if living a full and intentional life is easier and more attainable than you think?

What do you mean?

I’ll let you in on something I learned . . . We don't have to do it all! You know what I mean, everything on that ginormous list you created last week.  Instead…Do only the things He has given YOU to do.

That’s it!

Wait, what?

…And that… might look different for everybody!

Listen…

The reason why using others as a benchmark to determine what a full and intentional life looks like is because THANKFULLY God created each one of us differently.  And not only that, our families too!

Crazy, right?

What if instead of comparing ourselves to others we let God grow us right where He planted us?

What if we, let go of:

Trying to do it all

Overwhelming ourselves with busyness

Comparing ourselves to others

Feeling like we don’t measure up

    • Reminding ourselves of who God is
    • Evaluating our true tasks for the week with four simple questions
    • Asking God to order our steps
    • Praising Him as we reflect on our week

The simple act of pausing and talking to God about our upcoming week can bring clarity to those things that are most important.  The more we invite God into our weeks/days, the more we learn to walk instep with Him.

  • Imagine what we might REAP in return.  Things like:

    • Confidence as we DO the most important things He has given
      us  to do
    • Freedom as we learn to say no to things God is not asking
us to do (no more feeling obligated because someone asked)
    • Joy as we accomplish the goals and action steps we create
  • Not only that, but by using Life’s Everyday Planners you will also gain:

    • A strategy to help us prioritize our weekly tasks.
    • A Plan we create to help us navigate our year
    • A Place to track themes God is speaking to us or prayers He is answering
    • An opportunity to write down our valued memories in a quick and easy way.
